cancelled were made up on April 18, 2008. Randy Porter took the
official victory in the Georgia Asphalt Series Late Model Race before
the rain arrived on April 11, 2008. Hamby led every lap in each of the
two B-Mini Stock races. Hamby and Wayne Hammond battled side by side
the first four laps of the first race before Hamby nailed down the top
position. In the second race Hamby led every lap and was never
challenged during the race. Trey Gibson finished second in both of the
races. Mark Timmerman finished third in the first race with Brad
Burdette taking the position in the second race. Chad Campbell

Burgess claimed both victories in the Young Guns division. The Young
Guns competed along with the C-Mini Stock drivers due to the limited
number of Young Guns drivers. Burgess held the overall lead in the
C-Mini race for a couple of laps during the first race before crossing
the finish line in the overall second position. Burgess also finished
fourth overall in the second race. Dylan Wages was the second place
Young Guns finisher in each of the races. Austin Aker was the third
place Young Guns finisher in the first race but failed to finish the
race or compete in the second race due to a collision that severely
damaged his car.
Chad Black and Chad Stewart claimed the official
victories in the two C-Mini Stock races. The first race was a special
twenty lap, $200 to win C-Mini Stock Spring Championship race and it
was full of action with four drivers leading the race before a victor
was determined. Brandon Hendrix led the first ten laps before he
experienced mechanical problems during a caution period that removed
him from the top spot. Chad Campbell took the lead and held the
position until lap thirteen when contact between him and Avery Burgess
sent him around and leaving Young Gun driver Austin Aker with no where
to go. Burgess assumed the lead following Campbell’s demise and held
it for two laps before relinquishing the lead to Chad Black at the end
of lap fifteen. Once out front Black led the final five laps and took
the victory. Austin Northcutt finished second. Kayla Pritchett
finished third. Chad Stewart finished fourth. Jack Kelley finished
fifth. Chad Stewart took the lead in the second race on lap four.

second race with a last lap pass. Meyer held the lead the first
thirteen laps of the race before he and Will Ragsdale hooked bumpers
together battling for the lead which resulted in both spinning down
the back stretch. Jock White assumed the lead and on the restart he
had his hands full of Chuck Mitchell the following lap but by the end
of the lap Meyer had worked his way back to third. And on the final
lap Meyer bypassed Mitchell and White to retake the lead coming out of
turn four on the final lap. Jock White finished second. Will Ragsdale
finished third. Anthony Fantacone finished fourth. Chuck Mitchell
finished fifth.
