final lap. Ben Kay had made numerous attempts to bypass Hendricks for
the lead position but each time Kay made a move Hendricks would slam
the door shut. On the final lap of the race Kay pressured Hendricks
and made his final move as the two entered turn four. There was some
contact as the two exited turn three and Hendricks’ car broke lose as
the two entered turn four and Hendricks spun while Kay bypassed him
and received the checkered flag and the official victory. Michael York
finished second. Jimmy Burgess finished third. Chad Stewart finished
fourth. Brandon Hendricks did a three sixty and raced to the line to
finish fifth.
