$300 to win ‘Talking Phonebook’ Renegade Championship race ran at the
Anderson Motor Speedway on Friday night June 15, 2007. Darnell grabbed
the lead on the second lap and never looked back as he outdistanced
the field the next twenty four laps and took the checkered flag. Ken
Dillard moved to the second position on the same lap that Darnell took
the lead but Dillard failed to press Darnell during the race. Ken
Dillard finished second. Justin Cone battled Dillard a couple of times
for the second position but failed to get by him and had to settle for
the third place finish. Anthony Cordell led the first lap of the race
but dropped back on the second lap but managed to maintain a good run
and finished in the fourth position. Chad Watt finished fifth.
Jimmy
Burgess claimed the official victory in the C-Mini Stock race. On the
first lap Michael York and Chad Stewart battled side by side the
entire lap with York gaining a narrow advantage at the start finish
line at the end of the lap. As York and Stewart battled for the lead
spot the next four competitors battled side by side for the next four
positions. On lap two York pulled in front of Stewart with Ben Kay
taking over the second position at the end of the lap. For the next
two laps Kay battled York and grabbed the lead position at the end of
the fourth lap. Jimmy Burgess took over the fifth position on the
fifth lap. Once out front Kay pulled away from the field and received
the checkered flag. Burgess held on to the second place and crossed
the line in that position. After the race Ben Kay failed to pass post
race inspection and Jimmy Burgess was awarded the official victory
which was his first career victory in the C-Mini Stock division.

second. Whitey Suttles finished third. Zac Lane finished fourth. Eddie
Henderson finished fifth.
Alan Mitchell led every lap of B-M

the race Mitchell held the lead untested. Then on lap nine Matt Meyers
began to pressure him for the lead position. During the final six laps
of the race Mitchell and Meyers ran side by side almost every lap with
the two virtually even at the line on more than one of those laps. But
on the final lap Meyers got entangled with a lapped car and spun out
of turn four. Alan Mitchell pulled away to take the victory. Shawn
Mize bypassed Meyers to finish second. Matt Meyers finished third.

the third lap of the 600 Legends race and held off Justin Ashley the
