Lawler Takes PASS
Super LM Victory
Ben Kay Victorious In C-Mini Race

Ryan
Lawler from North Carolina claimed the victory in the
PASS South Super Late Model series race ran at the Anderson Motor
Speedway on Sunday afternoon June 3, 2007. Distinguished “The South
Carolina Clash”, the racing action was postponed from Saturday evening
to Sunday afternoon due to rain. Following Lawler was Gary Greenwood
Jr. from Anderson, South Carolina whom finished second. Johnny Brazier
from Hazel Green, Alabama finished third. Jason Hogan from Cleveland,
Georgia finished fourth. Ben Rowe from Turner, Minnesota finished
fifth. Please note that at the time of this release these results are
unofficial since the cars were undergoing extensive post race
inspections. Official results can be obtained from the PASS website.
Ben
Kay claimed the victory in the C-Mini Stock race. Michael York led the
first laps of the race before Kay battled by him and took the lead
position. Once out front Ben Kay led the remainder of the race and
claimed the official victory. Chad Black finished second. Michael York
finished third. Zack Dillon finished fourth. Chad Stewart finished
fifth.
David Darnell grabbed
the victory in the B-Mini Stock division. Chad Campbell and Darnell
battled for the lead position the first couple of laps of the race
with Darnell taking the lead soon thereafter. Once nailing down the
lead position Darnell never looked back as he claimed the official
victory. Mark Timmerman finished second. Chad Campbell finished third.
Joey Harris finished fourth. Kevin Eskew finished fifth.
Wesley Thompson led
every lap of the 600 Legends race as he claimed the overall victory
and the victory in the Pro portion of the race. Justin Ashley battled
with Thompson for the lead position until Ashley spun as the laps
wound down in the race. John Gallman finished second and claimed the
victory in the Semi Pro portion of the race. The victory was the first
of the season for Gallman. Jerry Rector finished third and claimed the
victory in the Master portion of the race. Randy Dilling finished
fourth. Randy Gunton finished fifth.
