Darnell claimed the official victory in the B-Mini Stock race ran at
the Anderson Motor Speedway on Friday night August 1, 2008. David
Darnell grabbed the lead as soon as the green flag dropped on the
race. BJ Thrasher moved to the second position on the second lap and
immediately went after the leader. By the time Thrasher had taken
the position Darnell held a four car length advantage. Thrasher cut
the advantage each of the next five laps and was on Darnell’s bumper
on the eight lap of the race. On lap nine Thrasher over took Darnell
and took over the lead. Thrasher began to pull away immediately but
misfortune struck Thrasher on the thirteenth lap as he slowed and
pulled the car into the pits. Darnell regained the lead position and
held it the remainder of the race. Mark Timmerman finished second.
Scott Hamby finished third. Tim Greer finished fourth. Stanley
Thompson
finished
fifth.

on the second lap with Kittle taking over the lead at the end of the
lap. For the next five laps Kittle began to pull away while Andrew
Brown and Thompson battled for the second position. But by lap ten
the top three were bumper to bumper with Andrew Brown holding the
second position. On lap twelve Brown made his move and took a narrow
advantage (mere inches) at the end of lap twelve. On lap thirteen a
caution appeared. On lap fourteen Thompson moved back to the second
position. By lap fifteen he was bumper to bumper with Brown and
Thompson finally bypassed Brown on lap nineteen. Once out front
Thompson pulled to a car length advantage and led the final lap and
received the checkered flag. Andrew Brown held off a last lap charge
from Kevin Eskew to finish second. Andrew Brown finished second and
claimed the victory in the Semi Pro class. Kevin Eskew finished
third. Zac Kittle finished fourth. Jerry Rector finished fifth and
claimed the victory in the Masters class.

Stock race. Black led every lap of the race on his way to the
