Mark
Timmerman claimed the official victory in the B-Mini Stock race ran at
the Anderson Motor Speedway on Friday night August 17, 2007. Scott
Hamby and Wayne Hammond battled side by side the first two laps with
Hamby nailing down the lead position on the third lap. For the next
few laps Hammond was able to hold Timmerman off but by lap ten
Timmerman had moved to the second position. Within a couple of laps
Timmerman was on Hamby’s rear bumper. Timmerman repeatedly pressured
Hamby for the next five laps but was unable to get underneath him.
Then on lap seventeen Hamby slipped a little and Timmerman grabbed the
inside line. Hamby was able to out power Timmerman until the white
flag dropped. Timmerman crossed the line ahead of Hamby by less than a
foot and took over the lead position. But Hamby was not ready to give
up. The two battled side by side the final lap of the race but
Timmerman was able to hold Hamby off and crossed the finish line ahead
of Hamby by half a car length. The victory was the third in a row for
Timmerman and sixth in the last seven races. Scott Hamby finished
second. Wayne Hammond finished third. Robbie Adams finished fourth.
Chad Campbell finished fifth.
Michael
York claimed the official victory in the C-Mini Stock race. York and
Zac Dillon battled side by side the first lap of the race before York
grabbed the lead at the end of the lap. Once out front York led the
remainder of the laps unchallenged on his way to the victory. Jimmy
Burgess finished second. Chad Black finished third. Brandon Hendrix
finished fourth. Chad Stewart finished fifth. The victory was the
first victory for York since April 27.

finished fourth overall in the race and was the top finishing Young
Guns driver. The victory was the second in a row for Aker. Dylan Wages

Chuck Mitchell claimed
the official victory in the B-M Modified race. Mitchell and Will
Ragsdale ran virtually side by side the entire B-M Modified race. The
two swapped the lead repeatedly during the race. By lap five Matt
Meyer joined the action and made it a three car battle for the
victory. On a couple of laps Ragsdale was able to pull in front of
Mitchell but before the lap was complete Mitchell was back beside
Ragsdale. On the final lap the three cars battled side by side and
nose to tail before Mitchell pulled ahead by a nose at the finish
line. The victory was the second in a row for Mitchell. Will Ragsdale
finished second. Matt Meyer finished third. Matt Greene finished
fourth. Frank Williams finished fifth.
John Stancill claimed
the overall victory in the 600 Legends race and the victory in the
Semi-Pro portion of the race. Wesley Thompson led the first three laps
of the race with Stancill all over him each lap. There was contact on
the fourth lap whereas Thompson spun. Both cars were placed to the
rear of the field and Kory Parham took over the lead position. Parham
led the next ten laps while Stancill moved through the field. On the
fourteenth lap Stancill bypassed Parham and regained the lead
position. Once out front Stancill pulled away for the victory. Kevin
Eskew finished second. Wesley Thompson came from the rear to finish
third and claim the victory in the Pro portion of the race. Kory
Parham finished fourth. Justin Ashley finished fifth. Jerry Rector
