Dillon Claims
‘BorgWarner’ C-Mini
Stock
Championship Victory
Darnell
Victorious In B-Mini Stock Race

Dillon claimed the official victory in the ‘BorgWarner’ sponsored
C-Mini Stock Championship race ran at the Anderson Motor Speedway on
Friday night September 7, 2007. Dillon led every lap of the race on
his way to the official victory. Michael York moved to the second
position early in the race but failed to challenge Dillon for the lead
position. Michael York finished second. Chad Stewart finished third.
Brandon Hendrix finished fourth. Chad Black finished fifth.
David
Darnell claimed the official victory in the B-Mini Stock race. Darnell
led every lap on his way to the victory. Mark Timmerman pressed
Darnell throughout the race and gave him numerous bumper taps but he
failed to get Darnell to slip up. Mark Timmerman finished second.
Scott Hamby finished third. Chad Campbell finished fourth. Trey Gibson
finished fifth.
Ken Dillard claimed the
official victory in the ‘Talking Phonebook’ Renegade race. Mike
Childers led every lap of the race and received the checkered flag.
Ken Dillard held the second position throughout the race but failed to
press Childers for the lead. After the race Childers’ car failed to
pass the post race inspection and the official victory was awarded to
Dillard. Bryan Beckner finished second. Jim Reynolds finished third.
Jim Skinner finished fourth. Steve Guthrie finished fifth.
Matt Meyer claimed the
official victory in the B-M Modified race. Meyer led every lap of the
race and took the victory. Steve Parris closed on Meyer as the laps
ran out in the race but failed to press Meyer for the top spot. Steve
Parris finished second. Will Ragsdale finished third. Shawn Mize
finished fourth. Randy Flanagan finished fifth.
John Stancill claimed
the overall victory in the 600 Legends race and the victory in the
Semi Pro portion of the race. Stancill, Wesley Thompson, and Paddy
Roddenback battled the first lap of the race with Stancill grabbing
the lead on the second lap. The three remained bumper to bumper for
the next several laps and eventually the pressure got to Stancill and
he slipped on lap nine which allowed Thompson to grab the lead and
Roddenback to take over the second spot. Stancill dropped to third. He
quickly regained his composure and began to press Roddenback. Stancill
bypassed Roddenback a few laps later and went after Thompson. Stancill
and Thompson battled the final four laps of the race with Stancill
grabbing the lead on the final lap. Wesley Thompson finished second.
Paddy Roddenback finished third. Justin Ashley finished fourth. Kevin
Eskew finished fifth.
Austin Northcutt
claimed the official victory in the Young Guns race. Austin Aker
finished second. There were only two Young Guns drivers and they
competed with the C-Mini Stock class.
