The 55th Season of racing kicks off on Friday, April 6th featuring the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stocks (50 lapper) and six additional divisions of racing. Competing divisions will include the Mini Stocks, Limiteds, Front Wheel Drives, BM Modifieds, US Legends and Renegades. Gates will open at 5PM and the green flag will drop at 8PM.

After speaking with the meterologist at the GSP Jetport and watching numerous forecasts, it seems that the stationary front which has effected our area all week will continue to bring showers throughout the day and continuing into the evening. The chance of rain in the Williamston area is 70% today and 60% this evening. With this in mind we have made the decision to postpone tonight's event at AMS. The Late Model Stocks return this week with TWIN 40's. All Late Model Stock drivers will toss beach balls and 1 lucky fan will win $100 with our Beach Ball Blast if your driver wins the race.
