Race Day Info

Our weekly AMS race events are held on Friday night.
Grandstand gates open at 5pm
Practice begins at 6pm
Racing begins at 8pm
Most of our leased events occur on Saturday. (Examples include: Southeast Super Truck Series, Tour Of Destruction)
Start times and ticket pricing will vary for leased events.

AMS Race Fans may park in the AMS Parking Lot for FREE.
This is the grassy, well-lit area just behind the AMS Main Grandstand. There is no fee for parking at our weekly race events.
(Leased Events may differ so please check the Homepage as it will list any special parking fees).

Casual attire is the most comfortable at the speedway in the stands. Just remember, you are outdoors, so dress accordingly for the elements. Don’t forget the sunscreen. The races can get loud at times so if you have sensitive hearing, ear plugs or ear muffs are available for purchase.

AMS offers one full service restroom in the MAIN Grandstands and one full service restroom in the Pit/Infield Area. The Restrooms are located to the left of the Main/Tower Building along the Main Concourse Area. The restroom facility along Trackside/Terraced Parking are Portable Toilets. Main Grandstand restrooms do have a changing table for infants.

AMS owners are the most pet-friendly folks you’ll ever meet, BUT for Insurance purposes you must leave your pets at home. Service Dogs are allowed. Also, it is never a good idea to leave your dogs in the car during the races. Pets would be much more comfortable at home.
